Day 02
Negambo / Pinnawella / Sigiriya

The name refers to a site of historical and archaeological significance that is dominated by a massive column of rock nearly 200 meters (660 ft) high. According to the ancient Sri Lankan chronicle the Culavamsa, this site was selected by King Kasyapa (477 – 495 CE) for his new capital. He built his palace on the top of this rock and decorated its sides with color full frescoes.

Day 03
Minneriya Safari / Sigiriya Villlage / Polonnaruwa sight seen

Located between Habarana and Polonnnaruwa,the 8890 hectares of Minnieriya National Park is an ideal ecotourism location in Sri Lanka. However the central feature of the park is the ancient Minneriya Tank. (Build in 3rd century AD by king Mahasena ). Day 04
Dambulla Rock Temple / Mathale Alluwiharaya / Spice gardens

After the BF we travel to Dambulla rock temple. Dambulla cave temple also known as the Golden Temple of Dambulla is a World Heritage Site (1991) in Sri Lanka, situated in the central part of the country. This site is situated 148 kilometres (92 mi) east of Colombo and 72 kilometres (45 mi) north of Kandy. It is the largest and best-preserved cave temple complex in Sri Lanka. The rock towers 160 m over the surrounding plains. There are more than 80 documented caves in the surrounding area. Major attractions are spread over five caves, which contain statues and paintings. These paintings and statues are related to Gautama Buddha and his life. There are a total of 153 Buddha
Statues, three statues of Sri Lankan kings and four statues of gods and goddesses. The latter include Vishnu and the Ganesha. The murals cover an area of 2,100 square meters (23,000 sq ft). Depictions on the walls of the caves include the temptation by the demon Mara, and Buddha's first sermon.

Aluvihare Rock Temple is traced back to the 3rd Century B.C to the reign of King Devanampiyatissa. Kandy / Peradeniya Botanical garden / Cultural show

Kandy / Nuwaraeliya

It is supposed to be one of the coldest places on the island, but is really just like an England spring day although the temperature does drop at night. Day 07
Nuwaraeliya / Ella / Yala

After breakfast leave to Ella. This will be an extraordinary experience since you will travel by train to Ella and arrive at the Ravana Falls and visit the same. The area has a rich bio-diversity dense with numerous varieties of flora and fauna. Ella is surrounded by hills covered with cloud forests and tea plantations. The town has a cooler climate than its surroundings, due to its elevation. The Ella Gap allows views across the Southern plains of Sri Lanka. Also visit the Ravana Cave. After that we proceed to Yala.

Day 08
Yala / Galle fort

round tour organizer sri lanka - After early breakfast leave for Safari at Yala National Park. Yala National Park is the most visited and second largest national park in Sri Lanka. The park consists of five blocks, two of which are now open to the public, and also adjoining parks. Yala was designated as a wildlife sanctuary in 1900, and, along with Wilpattu was one of the first two national parks in Sri Lanka, having been designated in 1938. The park is best known for its variety of wild animals. It is important for the conservation of Sri Lankan elephants, Sri Lankan leopards and aquatic birds.

Day 09
Hikkaduwa corral gardens / Turtle hatchery / Madu River

After late breakfast we will proceed to see corrals in Hikkaduwa area. Hikkaduwa National Park is one of the two marine national parks in Sri Lanka. The national park contains a fringing coral reefof high degree of biodiversity. The area was declared a wildlife sanctuary on May 18, 1979, and then on August 14, 1988, upgraded to a nature reserve with extended land area.

Day 11

After breakfast leave for Colombo. Arrive in Colombo and commence a city tour of Colombo. Drive through the commercial and city centre area known as the “Fort”, built by the Portuguese in the 16th century where grand colonial era buildings stand alongside modern office structures. See the busy markets and noisy bazaars of Pettah, the National Museum with its fine collection of lovely antiques and art of Sri Lanka. Drive past the Town hall, Independence Square, the B.M.I.C.H (International Convention Centre) and Cinnamon gardens residential area and visit a Buddhist temple and a Hindu Kovil to experience the diversity of religion, ethnicity and customs of the people.
